Relationships
It has been said that the most difficult thing in life is getting along with other people. However not only do we
have to get along with other people to enable our lives to work best for us, we are also compelled to seek out
companionship, love and affection. This is after all what makes us human.
Relationships change as we as individuals change, sometimes we are not aware of the fact until a crisis point is
reached. Communications may break down and we can be left feeling resentful towards a previously respected,
loved one.
Occasionally we can also make mistakes and may betray the trust that our partner had vested in us, leaving us
feeling guilty and worthless, feelings that further impact on the relationship.
I work with couples and individuals to help rebuild self esteem, and enable the re-establishment of effective
communications. Call to talk in confidence with me.
Work-Life Balance
Much is talked about in regard to “Work-Life Balance”.
The “Work Foundation’s” definition is:
Work-life balance is about people having a measure of control over when, where and how they work. It is achieved when an
individual's right to a fulfilled life inside and outside paid work is accepted and respected as the norm, to the mutual
benefit of the individual, business and society.
A principle to be applauded, but where do YOU start? The first person that has to accept this is YOU, yet our fears of
rejection and retribution combined with our feelings of responsibility often stop us from attempting to find a better balance.
Even when we know that we suffer symptoms of stress from an unbalanced life-style.
I have much experience in helping people to let go of their fears and reframe their responsibilities, enabling them to take
control over their lives. Call me to discuss your needs in confidence.
